About Us

The Douglas County Fish & Game League
P.O. Box 101
Superior, Wi 54880

The Douglas County Fish & Game League , founded in Superior Wisconsin in 1905, was started by concerned sportsmen to insure the protection and management of fish and game and the natural resources of the state.  Following the spirit of the founding members, the Board of Directors has continued to donate their time to promote wildlife habitat and ensure youth education.
We have reintroduced pheasants to the city of Superior and surrounding areas, and wild turkeys in Douglas County.
Many of our directors have become Certified Instructors, and have volunteered their time teaching youth in ATV, Snowmobiling, Boating and Hunters Safety.  In addition we offer a yearly scholarship to local High Schools.
The League sponsors handicap accessible hunting and fishing outings.
The League maintains and operates public ranges for rifle, pistol and archery.  To raise money for these projects, the League sponsors and annual Sports Show manned by our directors.  All Show profits are put directly back into the community projects.

The Douglas County Fish & Game League is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) 3 Non Profit Charitable Organization
